LCE is led by a
seasoned management and technical team with extensive UK and
African education management experience, and a proven record of
college development and administration.
The LCE team will support colleges by working in close
partnership with administrators and other stake-holders to
identify strategic priorities and specific initiatives for
action. The team will work with college directors to develop
management activities including coaching, mentoring and other
professional development opportunities aimed at aspirant leaders
and current staff.
The learning and evaluations gained will be documented and used
to assist staff in their duties. It will be designed to provide
staff with practical guidance to enable information and evidence
to be used more efficiently in your college so that staff can
fulfil their potential. The LCE team will aim to aid and
encourage college directors to take prominent roles in
facilitating the learning of others in college leadership
positions and senior management teams, by responding to their
professional needs.
The LCE team approach is focused around client-centred
consultancy and is based around a framework of guidelines, which
will form the cornerstone of the college’s quality assurance
strategy. It will offer opportunities to reflect upon and
develop these guidelines and the skills needed to facilitate
staff performances. In doing so, the approach will offer staff
the chance to explore their own personal development needs and
to receive appropriate feedback and support.
The LCE team approach also aims to equip lecturers with the
skills needed to make a significant impact on their college and
the lives of the students they teach. The LCE team approach is
all about providing solutions to the management issues facing
the directors, college administrators and tutors, in their
determination to provide excellent education for the student.
