Validation for accreditation of colleges and courses

Colleges seeking accreditation must possess facilities such as well-stocked libraries, excellent teaching aids and modern computer labs. Colleges will be required to provide quality assurance documents. These documents should be of professional standard and must reflect the activities of the college, quality of their lecturers, quality of programme delivery and college assessment procedures, which will serve as a guide to provision of good quality education. These resources, which are produced to support college administrators working to achieve quality service to their students, will include the following:
  • Business Plan

  • Quality Assurance strategies

  • Polices and Procedures

  • Course delivery plan

  • Assessment procedures

  • Students/Staff support programme

  • Health and Safety Guidelines

  • Strategic Plans

  • Marketing/Recruitment strategies

  • Job Descriptions

  • Organisational structure

The LCE team has many years experience in helping colleges to prepare for validation inspections including help in writing the above documentation.
